Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 30 min
1 8- ounce package cream cheese
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 5-ounce package instant vanilla pudding
3 cups cold milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 8-ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed Can use non frozen
1 box vanilla wafers (reserve 1 cup for topping)
5 bananas, sliced diagonally (I use around (7) I like more bananas)
1. Whip cream cheese with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add condensed milk, pudding mix, milk and vanilla until well blended. Whisk in whipped topping.
2. Line the bottom of a trifle dish (I use a 12×10 plastic dish) with vanilla wafers in a single layer. Add a layer of sliced bananas evenly over wafers and top with 1/2 of pudding mixture. Add another layer of vanilla wafer, banana slices and remainder of pudding mixture.
3. Place reserved vanilla wafers in a re-sealable freezer bag, cover with a kitchen towel and crush into small crumbles. Sprinkle as a final garnish over finished layer of pudding mixture. Serve chilled.
Comments: This is the creamest banana pudding I have ever ate. Enjoy!

This is a south dish you can take help from here………..for Banana pudding.
Woohoo, it’s homemade banana pudding y’all! And let me tell you – we southerners love our banana pudding, but we really love it, homemade, from scratch, with real custard, layered and meringue topped. Now that’s southern banana pudding – the way banana pudding was meant to be eaten y’all.
