Lightening Stoves and Instant Spice Bug

I am really loving the new Lightening Stoves at Café World on Facebook! But I just noticed today that when a dish spoils, I am not able to use the “instant spice” on it to remove the spoilage? I am not sure whether or not this is a bug or just because Zynga added the new outdoor decor functionality..?
Either way, I love the game!
